Davie Moore

Davie Moore is one of many gifts and talents that have been given to the Body of Christ. Transcending from singer to choirmaster to artist to preacher and now pastor.

Davie started as a child singing prodigy who possessed an old soul. He creatively coupled a preacher's disposition with a singers delivery.

For several years Davie served under the leadership of the late Bishop Willie Jordan, Pastor of the St Mark Church in Harvey, IL. Davie later went on to proceed the great choirmaster Lonnie Hunter in overseeing the renowned Voices of St. Mark. Soon after this Davie accepted his obvious call to the ministry.

In conjunction with his preaching style, Davie added artistry to his gifted discography. He recorded his 1st CD project entitled “A New Beginning”. This project was produced by the phenomenal Pharis Evans, Jr. and co-produced by Davie.

After this collaboration Pharis and Davie created the brand S.O.A.P. Productions (sons of a preacher).

Since then Davie has been sought after not only as an artist but as a preacher/evangelist of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

After the passing of Bishop Jordan, the congregation of St Mark scattered and the Voices of St. Mark became known as The Voices. The Voices have just recorded a new project under the leadership of Davie Moore. This project was also produced by Davie and co-produced by the gifted Maulty Jewell, IV and the capable Pharis Evans, Jr.

Shortly after this recording, Davie was elected Pastor of the Greater New Mt. Eagle M.B. Church, Chicago, IL. Davie now has the responsibility of feeding God's people on a weekly basis. While wearing several hats, Davie still finds time to perfect the many gifts and talents that God has endowed him with.
